Kotlin Multiplatform Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Kotlin Multiplatform developer to join our engineering team and help build the future of Recipe Bro across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• •Design and develop shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
• •Build and maintain iOS and Android applications with native UI frameworks
• •Develop backend services using Ktor or Spring Boot
• •Implement cross-platform data persistence and synchronization
• •Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• •Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• •Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• •Optimize application performance across all platforms

Requirements

• •Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
• •Experience with iOS development (SwiftUI/UIKit) and Android development (Jetpack Compose)
• •Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
• •Experience with backend development using Kotlin (Ktor, Spring Boot)
• •Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, and WebSocket connections
• •Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• •Experience with version control systems (Git)
• •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• •Experience with recipe or food-tech applications
• •Knowledge of web scraping and content extraction
• •Familiarity with machine learning for recipe parsing
• •Experience with video processing and streaming
• •Contributions to open-source projects
• •Experience with Kotlin/JS for web development
